Glastonbury
The Somerset town of Glastonbury is most famous for the music festival that takes place just a few miles away, but this peaceful market town has a lot to offer you the rest of the year too.
It is a gateway to the romance and mystery of the beautiful West Country, and is a great location to get away from city life and enjoy some quiet time. Try visiting beautiful Glastonbury Abbey or heading up Glastonbury Tor to enjoy the views.

Ludlow
This small market town in south Shropshire is an area of stunning and varied natural beauty and makes an unforgettable location for a romantic break. It was described by the poet Sir John Betjeman as "the most perfect town in England" and is surrounded by rolling hills, valleys, castles, towns and villages full of charm and unique character.

Anglesey

Edinburgh

Windsor

Durham
Durham is one of the most beautiful English cathedral cities. With its delightful, compact city centre situated on a bend in the River Wear, where the famous Norman cathedral perches opposite the magnificent Durham Castle, this is an eye-catching city.
There is a particular air of romance at night, when the cathedral and castle are illuminated. The whole of the centre of Durham is designated a conservation area due to the wealth of historic structures contained within.
Take a stroll along the river banks, explore the 17th century terraces and orchard of Old Durham Gardens, or get lost in the tropical plants and bamboo groves of Durham University Botanic Gardens.
The Lake District

Royal Palaces, London

West Cornwall

The coastline around St Ives is a wonderful destination for lovebirds, drive along the winding B3306 road along the coast from St Ives to St Just.
This location offers glorious views of the sea, and in 2008 it was named one of the most romantic sports in Britain. Cuddle up together on the rocks and watch the glorious sunset, or head to the beach at St Ives and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the sea, with nothing but the ocean between you and America.
